Dr. John W. Pawluk brings more than 20 years of experience in advanced endodontics and microsurgery to the patients and referring dentists he serves.
Dr. Pawluk earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees with honors from the University of Michigan, where he was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and received the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Award recognizing the top graduating student in endodontics. Dr. Pawluk completed his specialty training in Microsurgical Endodontics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he served as Chief Resident and as a Clinical Instructor for predoctoral dental students, helping educate and mentor the next generation of dentists.
Upon completion of his endodontic residency Dr. Pawluk practiced as an associate for 6 years before founding and operating a successful multi-doctor endodontic practice for more than 15 years in Illinois. He understands the importance of communication, accessibility, and serving as a trusted extension of the referring dentist’s practice. His goal has always been to provide a seamless experience for both patients and referring doctors while delivering the highest standard of specialty care.
Having performed more than 30,000 endodontic procedures, Dr. Pawluk is experienced in all phases of surgical and non-surgical endodontics, providing compassionate, evidence-based care for both routine and complex cases utilizing the latest technology and techniques.
In addition to his endodontic expertise, Dr. Pawluk possesses extensive experience in all phases of dental implant surgery, including implant treatment planning, surgical placement, sinus augmentation, bone grafting, and interdisciplinary restorative care. This comprehensive background enables him to collaborate closely with referring dentists in developing predictable, long-term treatment solutions that prioritize the best interests of each patient.
Committed to lifelong learning and interdisciplinary collaboration, Dr. Pawluk has lectured and instructed for Dentsply Tulsa Dental Specialties and been an active participant and host of Spear Study Clubs, fostering communication and continuing education among referring dentists and specialists while promoting comprehensive, patient-centered care.
Dr. Pawluk looks forward to building lasting partnerships with patients and dental professionals while delivering the highest standard of specialty care focused on preserving the natural dentition and achieving outstanding long-term outcomes.
